What is your job title?

Marketing Intern.

How long have you worked at Outsourced Events?

I have worked here for 10 weeks.

What is one thing you cannot live without?

I can’t live without headphones, they help me to focus in the office, I use them to listen to podcasts when I am walking, and I love listening to music as it lifts my mood and boosts my energy!

Where is the best place you have travelled to and why?

Prague, it has amazing architecture, the palace was beautiful, and the people were very friendly. Also, because it is slightly cheaper than other European cities, I was able to eat at lots of different restaurants.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to learn more languages as one day I want to live and work in a different country.

When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?

I love playing or watching football with my friends.

What is your favourite thing about working at Outsourced Events?

The people, as they are super friendly, and I get on very well with my colleagues.

If you could invite four people to dinner (living or dead) who would you invite and why?
  • Rory Sutherland – he is an encyclopedia of marketing and I love listening to podcasts that he is invited to speak at.
  • Conor McGregor – He was a role model for me when I was a teenager, I used to compete in taekwondo, and he preached discipline and hard work which inspired me and helped me improve as a fighter myself.
  • Mikel Arteta – He is the manager of the football club that I have supported since I was a child so to talk to him about Arsenal would be a dream come true.
  • Dr Dan Millard – He is a lecturer at my university for marketing and project management and he has been by far the most interesting and engaging lecturer I have had the pleasure of being taught by.
What was your childhood ambition?

When I was a teenager, I wanted to be a professional taekwondo fighter. I was training six days a week whilst studying and I was competing in European competitions which was a surreal experience for me.

What is your most memorable day at Outsourced Events?

My most memorable day at Outsourced was when I travelled to Berlin straight from the office with three hours’ notice as we needed someone to transport and setup a client’s booth at a conference. This was in my second week at OE and was a very fun experience.

If you could do any job, regardless of skills and training, what would it be?

I would love to be an architectural artist as I used to love drawing and photographing different structures, skyscrapers and buildings.

What are the top three items on your bucket list?

To buy my mum an Aston Martin as it is her dream car, to visit my family in India which I had planned to do but was not able to due to Covid, and to live and work in the USA.

What would people never guess you do in your role?

Fly to Berlin on three hours’ notice!

If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?

I am a big football fan so I would love to have seen England win the World Cup in 1966.
